How big of a service vest should I get for my lab puppy?

I have a golden retriever/ lab puppy that is almost 4 months old and I need to pre-order her service vest but I don’t know how big to get it. They go by the size of her ribs. The sizes are 29-35 in. for a medium vest, 35-39 in. for a large, and 39-45 in. for an x-large. They also had small ones but I know she’ll be bigger than those because she’s already 23 in. at 4 months.

Wait until she is fully grown and fully TRAINED to be a service dog before getting her a vest. Usually they are around 2 1/2 years old before they can pass as a fully trained service dog. What’s your hurry? She may not even make it to be a service dog. Give her a chance to grow up and be trained.
