Why aren’t there prescription mirrored goggles?
I have prescription goggles because my eyes are pretty bad (-6.5) so they help a lot. Unfortunately we swim in an outdoor pool during the summer, and I’m a backstroker, so the sun is always in my eyes, which makes it hard to see the flags and to swim straight. I have the tinted prescription speedo vanquishers, but honestly they don’t help enough. All my friends have mirrored goggles, but i can’t find any goggles that are mirrored AND prescription. It’s very frustrating. Why is that? Any suggestions on what I could do?
In response to swimr 4 life’s answer, I don’t have any problem finding mirrored goggles. Its mirrored AND prescription all in the same goggle that I can’t find. I actually buy my goggles regularly from swimoutlet.com
Also, I can’t stand not wearing prescription goggles because I’ve become so used to them that if I don’t wear them my stroke feels out of balance, and my starts, turns, and underwaters get messed up.
Ive had the same problem, then I found some!!! But, I’m very sorry to tell you that i dont remember where i got them from…some wierd site that I came across last year…hopefully you find it!!
